Maddie's Nepal Trip

In July 2019, I will be embarking on a 12-day trip to Nepal, in the hills of a district called Thamel.  I will be completely immersed in the culture and set to work labouring to rebuild the town that was so devastatingly demolished in the 2015 earthquake.  My main goal to raise two thousand pounds. This will be split into three installments- the first being eight hundred pounds which I have to raise by Christmas 2018.

I am extremely motivated to help change the lives of these people, helping to give them the mechanisms to live with just a fraction of the luxuries we take for granted on a daily basis. The trip will also give me the opportunity to connect with this community in Nepal, hopefully giving me a new perspective on life; which I will be able to carry with me into my adult life.
