Amid the daunting uncertainty and widespread anxiety caused by COVID-19, with Passover shortly upon us, let us remember to count our blessings and do a mitzvah by helping those who do not share our good fortune. Now is the time to find relief in the support of our community. Therefore, I ask that you please join me, Gary and our families by helping us make this Passover special for those members of our community in need.
MADA, who needs no introduction, is preparing 5,000 Seider meal boxes to be delivered to seniors for the holiday. Let us ensure that those self-isolating and those in need, who cannot leave the house or lack the means to celebrate Passover, can partake in this meaningful experience.
The cost per Seider box is $36.00. We have made a commitment to MADA to raise money to cover the cost of 1,000 boxes.
In times of great challenge, we have always come together to lend a hand and do what is right. COVID-19 has increased the demand for the services provided by MADA, who lacks the resources to aid an additional 500 individuals in need. Therefore, please join us in this endeavour that will do such good and be so greatly appreciated.
During this time please stay positive and do your share in preventing the spread of the virus. I am confident that we will all come out stronger then ever.
