Hallo allemaal,
In februari 2020 gaan wij Nepal bezoeken met groep van 18 kinderen rond de 16/17 jaar van het Wolfert Tweetalig in Rotterdam . Dit zullen wij doen als maatschappelijke stage voor school. Deze maatschappelijke stage ook wel IMAS genoemd is om de kinderen daar te helpen en andere culturen te ontmoeten. Wij zullen verblijven in de hoofdstad van Nepal, Kathmandu.
Wij gaan helpen bij de TIKA Foundation (https://www.tikafoundation.com/wie-we-zijn/) en gaan ons focussen op sporten met de kinderen maar ook gaan wij cultuur, milieu en klimaat lessen geven. De TIKA Foundation is een organisatie die zich bezighoudt met het verbeteren van de levensomstandigheden en ontwikkelingsmogelijkheden voor weeskinderen in Nepal. In andere woorden, de TIKA foundation probeert kinderen een toekomst te geven die elk kind verdiend. Wij als groep gaan proberen zoveel mogelijk geld op te halen voordat we naar Nepal gaan. Ook nemen wij veel sport/speelgoed spullen mee die de scholen in Nepal niet hebben.
Natuurlijk is het niet mogelijk om met een groep van 18 leerlingen dit allemaal zelf te betalen en vragen wij ook jullie steun.

Dear friends, family and colleagues,
In February 2020 we are going to Nepal with a group of 18 children of the age of 16/17. We are all students of Wolfert Bilingual Rotterdam. We will do this as an internship for school to help the children in the suburbs of Kathmandu.
This trip is organised in cooperation with the TIKA foundation (https://www.tikafoundation.com/wie-we-zijn/) We are going to teach and interact with children in two schools in Kathmandu. We are going to give hygiene, climate change, and culture lessons in the schools. On top of that we organise a sports day that includes all the children of the schools, and we will try to donate as many sports supplies as possible. Therefore we ask your help, with your donations that go straight to the TIKA foundation and local people. With the money we are able to improve the children’s learning progress as the school will have more money for teachers and learning material. The TIKA Foundation is trying to give children a future that every child deserves.
