Eating disorders are extremely prevalent throughout college campuses as society continues to promote unhealthy body types. Our goal is to try to help bring about change and the ability for all to embrace diversity. Delta Phi Epsilon created a Health and Wellness Expo where all proceeds go towards the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders.
This Health and Wellness Expo will give attendees the opportunity to see what healthy options are available on the market, particularly focusing on the options available in a college environment. The goal is to promote a healthy self and well-being because if you eat and feel better, your body is able to be better. There will be an assortment of tables and booths where nutritionists, healthy food, exercise and eating disorder specialists will be set up to help attendees see what healthy options there are and how to make a healthy choice when it comes to food, exercise and lifestyle.
This event takes place on April 15 from 5:00-7:00pm in the Ritchie Coliseum. There will be a $5 entry fee. The event is open to the public!
