Preserve Hollydale Green Space (Plymouth, MN)

Help us Preserve Hollydale Green Space before it’s too late. The City will soon consider allowing the re-zoning of the massive 160-acre tract for the building of 320 new homes. An area that obviously doesn’t have the necessary surrounding infrastructure to support shoehorning a large development in and between several existing neighborhoods. Once the bulldozers plow over the natural landscape, this beautiful treasure will be gone forever. Help us stop the City’s rezoning of the Hollydale Golf Course property. We need your help NOW. We will fight to preserve this one-of-a-kind natural treasure in the heart of Plymouth. This is a worthy cause for so many reasons. ·         Ensure the City Council follows their own 2040 Comprehensive Plan by denying re-zoning

·         Stop the overcrowding of our schools and the family instability caused by school reassignments

·         Save the City Council, the Course Owners, and the Developers from their own lack of conscience

The Plymouth City Council will soon consider whether to change their own 2040 Comprehensive Plan (ratified just months ago) and disregard their own resident’s strong opposition in doing so. They have shown little regard for the public’s outcry against changing the Comprehensive plan, and instead have telegraphed their desire to continue the excessive northwest Plymouth residential development they have engaged in over the past ten years. The Mayor and his Council will continue to do what they do until the constituents have had enough and fight back with everything they can muster. Any contributions to our cause will be used to fight back against their lack of concern for the people they serve. These expenses include but are not limited to: Legal fees, Watershed experts, Traffic Safety experts, Environment Impact evaluations, Printing and mailing.
