Hi   I'm Shannon I’m 15 and in Police Scotland youth volunteers joining was one of best things that I’ve ever done in my life it’s helped me to become more confident and I’ve achieved a lot back in June  2019 I was chosen to get the regional commitment award for the west of Scotland out of 19 people I was the chosen one I had completed 325. Volunteering hours in one year. but enough of me we have an amazing opportunity from the police international development unit (IDU) to come up with a project that can help with the United Nations global goals I’m doing a project I made called save a life it’s where I teach children aged 7-14 about basic life saving first aid I deliver this in a way that’s fun and memorable I’m a qualified advanced first aider and with my skills I’m delivering this project I’m trying to fundraise for first aid supply’s to make up first aid kits to donate them to schools and CPR manikins to demonstrate on. The police (IDU) has set us the task for coming up with a project to deliver in Scotland and then if successful we would get to travel to Malawi or Zambia to deliver our project think this is amazing I can help others in a way that’s fun it fits in with 4 of the goals.  I really need the support and kindness of people to help me I will continue to deliver this project in schools if unsuccessful as I do not want to waste this idea I have had. please help me with anything if you can as it will be greatly appreciated I will post updates when I’ve delivered it into schools thank you for reading have a good day.
