Antigua, Guatemala Missions Trip

It has always been a dream of mine to travel the world and help other people. So, I have great news. I am joining Adventures in Missions and Purchase Effect to go on my first mission trip! We will be traveling to Antigua, Guatemala from April 19-26, 2015. This is a very unique and exciting opportunity for me to make impact, on another side of the world, in the name of Jesus!

As some of you may know, my birthday is April 22, so I couldn’t think of a better way to spend it or celebrate the life that God has given me than to be of service to someone else. While there, we will be working with orphans and children who legally don’t exist. They weren’t born in hospitals and don’t have legal documentation such as a birth certificate. This makes them ineligible for school and puts them in danger of death, being recruited into gangs, and/or trafficked.
In order for me to go to Guatemala, I will need to raise $2000 by March 1, 2015 which will cover lodging, food, and air fare. Please help me reach this financial goal and make a contribution to my trip.

I’m standing on Mark 16:15 and I’m humbled by the opportunity to serve Jesus in this way. Words couldn’t begin to describe how excited I am to change the world and this is just the beginning for me.
