Lysiane's Fight Against Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Donation protected
Our precious Lysiane Weibel has received the news no one ever wants to hear, certainly not at the prime of her young life and after just marrying her high school sweetheart. She has just been diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, a rare type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. As we all approach the holidays and anticipate being with family and friends, Lysiane is now tasked with finding the right doctor, beginning a series of additional testing, and undergoing chemotherapy.
Lysiane is a college student, finishing up her studies in Midlothian, TX and anticipating further business courses. She came to Texas as an exchange student from France and attended her junior year of high school in Midlothian. There she met Kole Stout and they became good friends as he tried to help her assimilate all the new aspects of her life – meeting friends, improving her language skills, and finding a church home among all the other new experiences of life abroad for her.
When COVID shut the world down she and the other foreign exchange students had to return to their home countries. However, that only made Lysiane more determined to get back to the young man she fell in love with. One year later, after taking an accelerated senior year course online and working multiple jobs to save for her Visa, she returned to The States so she could be with her true love, Kole. She and Kole got married this past summer and were finally able to begin their lives together. They are avid campers and adventurers and have made many road trips in Kole’s truck that they converted together to accommodate overnight trips to various campgrounds and state parks.
In November on a camping trip Lysiane noticed a lump on the side of her neck. After several doctors’ visits, labs, scans, and biopsies she was told it was non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It has become clear that the insurance she was able to get through her university is not going to go very far on the road ahead. As you can imagine medical bills are quickly piling up and this is just the beginning of her journey.
Lysiane is a very goal-oriented young woman with a sunny and hopeful outlook on life. She has always been a planner, orchestrating a strategy to enter and complete college. However, we know the upcoming expenses will be large in addition to the physical, mental, and emotional toll that accompanies a diagnosis like this. Lysiane has always been self-sufficient and has never asked for help but as she bravely faces this critical situation, the last obstacle she should have to worry about is how to fight for her life financially.
On top of emotional support and prayers, one of the best ways you can help is financial donations. Any amount will help her at this time and is very much appreciated.
The money that is donated will go towards: Diagnostic testing such as bone marrow biopsy, CT scans, PET scans, echocardiogram, surgery for medi-port placement, chemotherapy, possible radiation, wig, cryopreservation of her eggs (due to infertility from the chemotherapy), and prescriptions for all of the side effects from chemotherapy.
