Lunches For Healthcare Workers

As many of you know The  Carvery Sandwich Shop has issued a challenge to other restaurants to donate and help provide lunches to our local healthcare workers in our local hospitals. It has been a great success and we are still getting restaurants accepting our challenge. As a result of my posts going viral the general community was very appreciative of our efforts and have been wanting donate money to go towards our cause. I didn't really have anything set up for this until now. I have been turning away monetary donations and it would not be fair for me to keep turning this away knowing our Healthcare workers can really use it.

 So here it is. This GoFundMe is to raise money to help feed our local healthcare workers in our local hospitals. As many of you know, they are working very long hours in a very high stress environment at this time. They don't have the time to do groceries let alone make lunch for themselves. Their lunch rooms have been taken away to minimize contamination and it is really hard for them to eat and recharge during their shifts. Our goal is to provide lunches for Peace Arch and Surrey Memorial hospitals so they focus on taking care of their patients. 100% of the money collected will be used towards this cause.

Now another good news is not only will your donation be helping our healthcare workers but you will also be helping our local businesses because I will be buying 100% of the lunches from them.
