LEAPS are a support group for those who are unemployed. We have advocacy services, varied therapies, and therapeutic trips for members to interact with others who may be in the same situation as themselves.
Since 2009, LEAPS have secured funding from the Lottery Community Fund but we need your help for our next project...
We would like to provide packed lunches for those who are in need in our local area (North Shields, UK), namely individuals who attend food banks or those with no fixed abode. With most of our members being in receipt of state benefits, they can relate to those in need and one of LEAPS ethos is that you treat others how you'd like to be treat. Our members are kind and caring with huge hearts so we'd like to help as many people as possible.
