Lumber Drive

A few years ago, we raised money for insulation to winterize the tents in a homeless encampment in New London.  Not long after, the NLPD destroyed the encampment and left the former residents with nothing in the dead of winter.

If you are familiar with our organization you know who we are. We are undyingly committed to the wellbeing of those in need. We have been at this for years doing all we can to provide support for the community.

As winter looms, we are launching another effort to provide safety for the homeless. We will be building tiny homes for the residents and future residents of a tent encampment just over the New London / Waterford border.

We have a lot of material already, but we are looking for additional funds to secure some framing lumber and plywood. We already have a lot of wood for the structures, we have roofing material, windows, and doors. But the final part of what we need is currently beyond our ability to fund ourselves.

If you support this effort and want to contribute to the project, please consider donating to help make this dream a reality.
