Armando Ortegon's Cancer Treatment

I am starting this fund on behalf of my good friend Armando Ortegon. He has been diagnoed with AML-type lukemia. Although chemotherapy is covered under OHIP in Ontario, there are newer and more effective drugs that are not covered by the province's health insurance. I have also been looking into alternatives like Phoenix Tears, although due to the time-sensitive nature of his illness I think that is something to be looked at a little into the future. Basically me and his friends just want to ensure that he has the means to avail himself of any drug or treatment that him and his family feel is best, including sending him to a U.S. mayo clinic.
