Lucies NSPKU sponsored walk

Hello

We are raising funds for a charity that's close to our hearts NSPKU.

At 6 days old my little girl Lucie was diagnosed with PKU which is a metabolic condition that prevents her body from breaking down the protein within food. If lucie wasn't put on her strict diet (prescribed food, supplements and closely monitored) and left untreated lucie could of ended up with brain damage. Thankfully due to the heel prick lucie received she was diagnosed early enough.

If it wasn't for the NSPKU and all there hard work life would of been a lot more difficult for not only my family but other PKUer families, the NSPKU are also currently fighting for a drug (Kuvan) to be legalised within the UK to allow everyone with PKU to live a normal life.

Due to the pandemic alot of charity's have struggled so we just want to help a charity close to our heart
