My nephew, Luc Durfey, was in a serious car accident on Sunday, June 19 in Alberta, Canada.  He was ejected from the car he was driving in with significant brain and other life-threatening injuries.  He is at the ICU at the hospital in Calgary with his mom, Kim, dad, Dex (and stepmom, Candice), his siblings Maddy, Sydnee, Megan, Karlee, Clieve and many extended relatives. 

Luc continues to be in critical condition.  The extent of his injuries, including brain injuries, are not fully known at this time, other than they are significant.  Luc's rehabilitation will be slow and long.  The costs for the recovery and on his family to support him in his recovery efforts will be significant.
