On April 26th 2018 at 10:03 am Lucas Javier Luna was born at 24 weeks 5 days gestation weighing in at 1 lb 14 oz and 13 inches long. Unfortunately, due to Lucas being born so early he has a long NICU battle ahead of him. His parents Megan and Omar are dedicated to being by his bed side every step of the way.
Due to the lack of resources with West Boca Medical Center for NICU families, the longevity of his stay, and the hospital being over an hour away from home there are many unforeseen expenses ahead of them.
Megan and Omar are already under undying stress as they pray for the health of their son. I am asking everyone to come together and help to ease the financial stress that this unfortunate situation will put on them.
