Medical Trip to Nicaragua

Hello friends and family!!

With only 7 months away from graduating to become a Registered nurse (BSN), I have an opportunity THIS summer (Sept 14-22) to travel to Nicaragua with my fellow classmates with an organization called Global Medical Training and utilize my nursing skills! GMT is a non-profit organization that serves Central American countries and communities that are in need of medical attention. We will be working with doctors side by side and provide FREE medical and dental services to serve urban and rural communities who have poor access to healthcare by hosting clinics, prescribing medications, vaccines, home visits, etc.

This opportunity has been tugging at my heart as I have been praying for God's leading in the medical mission field. It would be a privilege to submerge myself in a different culture, enhance my knowledge and skills, and most importantly serve others! God has blessed me beyond measure during the past year and a half in the nursing program, and I would like to spend a part of my summer to be a blessing to others. Please join me in this experience of making a difference by helping me make this trip possible!

Funds go towards:

Cost of trip: $1250

Cost of airfare: $700
