Hi,  my name is Heather Janelle Stone. I was born Aug 20, 1982  and moved to FLORIDA in 1994 and have called it home ever since.  2016 has brought me something truly unexpected,  CANCER.  My only living relative is my 68 year old mother who herself survives off social security and a part time job.  I have had no choice but to turn to my close friends and the kindness of strangers.  I have depleted all savings including mom's.   I've looked into disability but with only being DCIS STAGE 1 with my sub type do not qualify for disability.  Apparently I have to be even sicker.  My mom has helped me so much so that I've now jeopardized her financial stability which only leads to more depression and anxiety for me(in addition to cancer,  I've struggled with adhd and depression since childhood).  I have already negotiated a move to a less expensive new apartment where I will be able have a roommate to help with  expenses. Your donations  will be used for the following reasons: All out of pocket medical expenses, (travel, parking and hotel during treatment, tolls, gas) to assist me with my daily living expenses: rent, electric and other utilities and food (until Doctor gives me the all clear to return to work as an independent CHEF/CATERER).
