Support for The Dodsons & Children's Medical Group

Many of us have taken our children to Children's Medical Group, and we are all devastated by the loss of Dr. Dodson.
As neighbors, many of us watched the tragedy unfold while we sheltered in place and prayed for everyone's safety. When it all ended with an explosion and gunfire that shook our houses, we hoped for the best... we crumbled 30 minutes later when we heard the tragic news from the Austin Police Department.
As much as we feel we are suffering, it is NOTHING compared to what Dodson's family and the other staff at CMG are going through.
The least we can do is lend them a helping hand...

Children's Medical Group has suffered a terrible tragedy with the loss of one of their beloved doctors, Dr. Dodson.
It is our duty to support and encourage them through this difficult time.
Together, we can make a difference to all their staff and their families with caring messages, gifts, and financial support.
These funds will be donated directly to Children's Medical Group for them to use at their discretion.
In times like these, community is everything - let's show what a strong and supportive community we are!

Dr. Bell has confirmed she is aware of the GoFundMe campaign and will be working with the Dodson family to determine how the funds will be used. Per the legal requirements of the GoFundMe website, the beneficiary of these funds must be Children's Medical Group, PA. CMG will direct the funds to the Dodsons and other families and staff. Dr. Bell has confirmed that the Dodson family will have the ultimate authority in how funds are distributed. Dr. Bell has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from patients and the community.

My wife and I have taken our twins to Children's Medical Group ever since they were born and couldn't be happier with their service and kindness! We've been fortunate to work with Dr. Bell, Dr. McConnell and Dr. Dodson and had a wonderful experience with all of them.
We will no doubt continue to trust them with the health of our twins as they grow in the years ahead!
