Love All My Babies

Hi, my name is Mandy, and I'm proud to be a F.A.R. (foster, adopt, rescue) Crazy Cat Lady! I currently have 12 kitties of my own, 10 of them are rescue kitties, ranging in age from 1 year to 18 years old. I also providing care for a sick/healthy stray kitties. I've had to temporarily stop fostering due to many health problems in my own kitties. These kitties mean the world to me, and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for them. Over the last few years I've developed many chronic health problems, that make living through every day a challenge. However my beautiful furbabies have given me a renewed strength to not just live, but fight past overwhelming depression and pain. Being able to care for these amazing creatures has saved me in so many ways, and so I've dedicated myself to giving back in anyway I possibly can, and that is why I respectfully ask for your help.

My beautiful Himalayan kitty Tobie, is my eldest, at 18 years old. She was my very first rescue when I was only 17 years old, and she's truly like a first born daughter to me. She is now suffering from cancer and renal disease, requiring meds, a special diet, and regular vet visits with testing. At this point my goal is to make her life as happy and comfortable as possible. She's been with me thru so many stages of life, and has been such a loving companion. I could never ask for more than being able to provide her with the best care possible, during whatever amount of time she has left.

My most recent rescue was a stray pregnant kitty from my neighborhood, who then had 6 kittens. I fostered them all, then adopted the mom, Meemo, and 4 of her kittens; Oreo, Biscuit, Eddy, and Misae. About 9 months ago Meemo started having a lot of intestinal trouble. Then at 6 months old, Eddy and Misae, were diagnosed with severe heart murmurs, while Oreo and Biscuit have minor heart murmurs. Unfortunately Eddy's heart condition is life limiting, and therefor he only has a few years to live, and they only just turned 1 year old on August 26th . Both Eddy & Misae require routine heart tests, and Eddy requires ongoing medicine. My daughter Abbey, who was 12 years old when the kittens were born, used her own money to adopt Eddy, he's her 2nd rescue. I can't explain how heart breaking it was for her to learn just how fragile life is thru Eddy's diagnosis. She has such a tender heart towards animals, just like I do, so she's even more determined to give him the best life possible now, for however much time he has left.

When I first signed up for GoFundMe in June 2014, I was taking care of a sick stray cat from my neighborhood as well. We named him Guinness, because of his coloring. He was trying to recover from a real nasty upper respiratory infection. He also had some other health problems that needed to be addressed, as well as he getting neutered. He's was living on my screened in porch for a few weeks while he recovered. Unfortunately after a month together, we discovered some very bad health problems, and had to put him to sleep. It broke my heart, we tried so hard to take care of him and get him healthy. Even tho things didn't turn out like we hoped, I take solace in knowing that for the first time in his approx 8+ years of feral life, he knew love for a months time. My goal now is to work on getting the stray kitties in my neighborhood spayed/neutered, and as healthy as possible.

Taking care of my kitties, fostering, and working with the stray kitties is my passion. I have an Instagram account dedicated to my beautiful furbabies @love_all_my_babies , where I love to show off all my babies, fosters and strays. So far this year alone I've spent nearly $6,000 taking care of all the kitty medical needs, and the medical care doesn't stop there. Along with my own medical problems I'm really struggling financially. I am grateful for any donation big or small, any amount, large or small makes a difference. Taking care of my furbabies and feral babies is so very important to me. I won't give up on them, no matter the cost, but I'm out of funds and my credit card is now maxed out. I'm happy to share any additional information or answer questions via Instagram @love_all_my_babies or Facebook:
