Love Swimming opened its doors 19 years ago in the fall of 2001.
The support of our community of swimming families and the faith they have put in us for all these years has allowed Love Swimming to be a New Orleans swim school right of passage for almost 20 years.
Today, in response to this unprecedented global health crisis, Love Swimming has to close its doors temporarily and lay off staff until we can reopen safely. Though this is heartbreaking, we know it is the only action we can take to ensure that Love Swimming will continue to exist for New Orleans children for many years to come.
Without our dedicated staff of WORLD CLASS PEOPLE, Love Swimming would not exist. They are people of infinite patience, joy and energy who love children, love teaching, and live for each milestone they witness as our children grow and become more confident swimmers. We have been fortunate to have the very best team of people who, above all else, love PEOPLE. It is the hardest thing we have ever done to temporarily lay off all of our staff to ensure the survival of our business after this crisis passes.
In an effort to ensure the survival of our staff we are asking for help. If your family or someone you know is in a position to help Love Swimming ensure that our staff can be housed and fed, and that our business remains sustainable during this crisis, we will be eternally grateful. Every cent counts at this critical moment.
We thank each and every one of you for all of the years of promoting our swim culture vision!
