Love & Relief Fund for Nancy, Preston & Baby Keov

On October 11th, an unexpected tragedy took place that struck and broke the hearts of many. None will feel the impact of this devastating loss on their lives more than Nancy, the baby growing within her and their three year old son, Preston.

 

It was Sunday night during Thanksgiving weekend. Nancy and Vicheka had invited their closest friends over to celebrate a night of gratitude. A night where Vicheka made not one, but two turkeys. That’s right, two. In midst of all the warmth that filled their home, Nancy and Vicheka paused, time stood still around them. They shared an intimate moment and deep conversation professing their devotion, obsession and undeniable love for eachother. Nancy and Vicheka recapped their life journey together and were filled with immense excitement when speaking about their future ahead.

 

As a night that was filled with love, laughter, incredible food and tremendous joy came to an end, Nancy and Vicheka headed to bed. The same bed they shared together for the past nine years. They said good night to each other and Vicheka began to snore in his slumber. Nancy dosed off in the comfort of his snore that filled the room. It was 10am, on October 11th, Thanksgiving day, Nancy woke up to a nightmare. As her heart broke into a million pieces, she had discovered that Vicheka passed away in his sleep. She knew he was gone and fell into complete devastation. It was from this moment that she knew her’s and Preston’s lives will be forever changed.

 

Nancy and Vicheka recently sold their house and are in the midst of looking for their next home. Nancy and Vicheka are also expecting their second baby together due in Spring 2022. The gender of their second baby was planned to be revealed during Vicheka's upcoming birthday, which would have been on November 6th.

 

Vicheka touched the hearts of so many. He was a man of love and devotion to his friends and family. Vicheka represented honour, class, compassion and was always down for a good time. He will be missed dearly. May he Rest In Peace and live forever in the hearts of those he touched.

 

This GoFundMe has been started to take away the financial burden from Nancy, who is four months pregnant, and Preston, allowing them to grieve in peace during this difficult time.

 

Vicheka was the primary financial provider for his family. In his presence, Nancy never had to worry about any financial responsibility. With Vicheka's sudden passing, she now has to absorb all the responsibilities he handled. She is quickly learning: the frequency of all the payments above and how costly they are. Her closest friends and family are witnessing first hand just how overwhelming this is for Nancy as she mourns the loss of her life partner.

 

Unfortunately the responsibilities of reality do not disappear when we lose a loved one. In the midst of their unimaginable pain and heartache, Nancy and Preston should not need to worry about bills and living expenses. Contributions to this fund will allow for them both to grieve Vicheka’s absence without disturbances from financial realities.
