Our good friend Joe is having double back surgery on February 25th and needs our help! Years ago he was in a devastating car accident and has had numerous back surgeries, 6 to be exact, allowing him to continue working and living life. This next one is big and he will be non-load bearing and wheelchair bound for about three weeks, no lifting for six weeks after that, followed by six weeks of light lifting. The hope is that he will be able to return to work the second week of June.

Joe is the sole income provider for his family; his wife and two boys.

What makes this even more meaningful is who Joe is. When our mutual friends, the Trulson’s, received the devastating diagnosis of leukemia for their third-born son, Joe literally put his own business on hold to help them. He stepped in and led a semi-remodel of their home to address mold and other serious issues so they could focus on their child and bring him back to a safe home. That’s the kind of man he is — selfless, generous, and faithful.

Joe loves Jesus deeply, and right now he could use our support. Although if you ask him, he would be humble beyond words.

As his brother and sister in Christ, we are asking for:

• Prayers for complete healing and a smooth recovery

• Peace over him and his family in this season

• Financial support to help bridge the gap while he’s unable to work
