Love For Elly & Her Mom

Donation protected
Attention all Belleville Friends and Family !!!

I have created this GoFundMe Page for one of my students, Elly Barbosa and her Mom Maria.
Tragedy has hit this Family and I felt the need deep down inside to try to Help them any way that I could.

As I mentioned before Elly is one of my students at Belleville High School and is also a member of the Girls Basketball Team, which I Coach.

On June 28, 2018 Elly's Father Antonio passed away suddenly at the age of 51, after complications from a stroke.  This was a very sad and heartbreaking event to the Barbosa Family and Friends.
However, Seven Weeks later on August 15, 2018 Elly's Brother Jose unexpectedly passed away at the age of 26.
As you can imagine this has left Elly and her Mom devastated and with many uncertainties as Antonio, her Father was the main source of income along with Jose her Brother, also contributing to the Family.

So I am reaching out to My Friends and Belleville Family for Help.  We have always prided ourselves as a tight-knit community helping our own in need and that Belleville Blue & Gold runs through all of our veins.

Here is a little background story of Elly's Family.
Her Parents came to the United States from Portugal in 1985 and were married for 27 Years.
Elly's Father was a loving, dedicated and hard-working man who always put his family first and only wanted the very best for his two children.
Elly's Brother always loved to cook and pursued a career in the Culinary Arts where he specialized in French Cuisine and Ice Sculpture.
The Family shared a passion for traditional Portuguese Music, Dance and Song.  They belonged to various Portuguese Clubs and Dance Groups where they performed, danced and sang.  Such groups were the Rancho Folclorico Sonhos de Portugal, Grupo dos Bombos, Barcuense and Casa Do Minho.
Maria, Elly's Mom was always there supporting her family,  watching their performances with a huge smile on her face and was their biggest fan.

The Barbosa Family has always had strong family values and traditions that have been passed through the generations.  Family is everything to them.

Elly's Mom is a kind, loving, caring, strong, warmhearted woman who is grieving this unimaginable loss, while still trying to make the best for her daughter Elly and her future.
I can describe Elly as a bright, intelligent, beautiful, out-going, kind and caring young woman who always greets you with a smile.  Besides being very active in her dance groups, Elly is a Honor Roll Student, a member of the PEP Club, an Assistant in Student Services, along with being an Athlete for both the Belleville High School Basketball and Softball Teams.

Elly has just started her Senior Year of High School and will be Graduating  in J
une, 2019.  She would like to attend college and study Business Management.

I know Elly and her Mom are doing the best they can and with their close, loving bond will continue to support each other any way possible.

So to take some of the burden off of them and to let Elly have a stress free, enjoyable  Senior Year, I am asking for Donations to Help Elly and her Mom for Household Bills, Mortgage Payments and Elly's Future & College Tuition Cost.

ALL DONATIONS will be Deposited Directly into Elly and her Mom's Joint Bank Account.

PLEASE Consider Donating, Posting & Sharing ...
THANK YOU from the Bottom of My Heart & Love To You All !!! XOXO
