LOUIE LOUIE LOCAL: HELP FUND FREE NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO NEIGHBOURS IN NEED
Louie Louie is a café/bar on Walworth Road, South London. We care about our local community and our staff. We want to ensure that during this ongoing pandemic we can contribute to helping those in need with what we do best, providing healthy nutritious food.
We need your help to build this service and donate meals to your neighbours. For every £5 donation we receive, we will cook and deliver at least one free nutritious meal to those who need it.
We are working in conjunction with our local North Walworth Mutual Aid group (who are already supporting a number of locals) and the local OLIO - Share More, Waste Less app team (who in normal times operate a free food waste pick up/delivery service online).
We will also be working closely with our regular suppliers to maintain high hygiene standards. The menu will be ever changing, but will never the less be comfort food and be easily heated or frozen. Our business will not profit, but employees involved in cooking will be paid fairly for their work.
