More information about Loudoun Citizens for Social Justice, Inc. (Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter LAWS): The mission of Loudoun Citizens for Social Justice (dba Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter/LAWS) is to serve adults and children who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault; to empower, inform and advocate for adults and children; to educate the community about domestic violence and sexual assault and to work towards the elimination of personal and societal violence. Currently, LAWS offers a wide range of direct services to more than 1,000 citizens annually. Prevention and education programs are presented throughout the county to reduce domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Through its programs, LAWS seeks to empower survivors of personal violence so they may live free from fear, anxiety, and danger.
