Friends -
Many of you know that Lori Foester recently had emergency lung surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital and is now at home recovering. The deductibles, co-pays and pharmacy expenses are currently upwards of $10,000. Several friends have offered to help financially and suggested we set up this page. Brett is an Associate Pastor at Willowdale Chapel, and has run the Re-Engage program there for years. Lori, Brett and their 4 children (Lainee-11th grade, Noelle-9th grade, Judah-5th grade and Piper-4th grade) are all active in our community with school and sports, and with caring for neighbors and friends. I'd love for you to join us in helping to reduce the financial burden of this unexpected health crisis.
More complete details of Lori's surgery are detailed below. Thanks so much!! Patti
Surgery details-
Lori went to the doctors on Monday the 22 with chest pains and shallow breathing. She was quickly taken to CCH in an ambulance for a possible pneumothorax (collapsed lung). She spent one night at CCH when the doctors confirmed her lung had collapsed and she needed lung surgery. Unfortunately CCH doesn’t specialize in this type of surgery and she needed to be transferred to The Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania with her 3rd pneumothorax. The surgery was performed quickly and with success, and on 3/28 she came home and is resting and recovering.
