LOCKDOWN SUPPORT IN ZIMBABWE

Donation protected
Lockdown in Zimbabwe is not the same as in the UK. The country has less than 20 ventilators and there were already 7 million people in starvation before the lockdown.
There is no local scheme to help those experiencing domestic violence. People have to choose between risking going out to make money or starvation at home.

I have a friend there who has very little herself. A house with a broken roof and little to no money with a mum and a nephew to support.

Here is a message from her:

"Because things are not well in the homes, it's either hunger or domestic violence. Last week went to help distribute food stuffs to a few people who were starving in the homes about 5 families. And I have had quite a lot of people coming to my house asking for help with food. And also had to help some of our church members who were struggling too. And now one of our church members, he's over 80 years old and blind (the church supports him) now he's having problems with stomach pains. Will have to go and see him and take him to the nearby clinic. It's risky I know but cannot help it..."

We want to raise money to send to her so she can support more families like this.

So this is how we're gonna help and we'd love it if you can join us:
For a minimum donation of £5 we will send you an inspirational/motivational text every hour for 16 hours on a day of your choice.

Once you make the donation, please include your number in the private message and the date you would like your messages.

Let's continue to make the world a better place together.
