Local Family in Crisis
Donation protected
We have a Carolina Park family of four who are in a crisis. The husband has struggled this past year with losing two jobs and finally found work at Harris Teeter. He collapsed at work, a large brain tumor was found, which now explains his bizarre behavior that he has exhibited this past year. Even going to the doctor prior to this, they found nothing wrong. He was the major breadwinner, and now, they are drowning in debt and seem to have a BLACK CLOUD hanging over their heads. The wife just fell, and is having her hand x-rayed. It is the hand she uses working at her computer every day. The husband was scheduled for a ten-hour brain surgery this morning, but went into a-fib and had to cancel the surgery. Now, they are running more tests.
We have never done this before, but we are witnessing a dear friend struggling, scared, and trying to keep her family with two teenage girls, and home together. The exhaustion, worry and stress is taking a toll on the entire family. We decided to put their plight out on Next Door so anyone who has a way to help this drowning family could do so by making any kind of donation. These are trying times and everyone is being so caring, generous, and supportive of others. We are hoping people will continue with this generosity.
