Local 26 Support Demetrius Fund
Im not being allowed to work because PMA and Local 63 filed a 13.2 on Me which is NOT in the Local 26 contract. I was trying to protect our work when the clerk didn't like the fact the Local 26 preforming broken seal reports. the clerk and I settled the issue amicably and shook hand and all returned to work with the understanding that broken seal reports are Local 26's work. However Local 63 BA showed up and wasn't happy with the outcome and the way it was settled and filed a 13.2 complaint against Me! PMA and Local 63 secured a decision that given 28 days off! Local 26 has advised all the Local 26 is not part of 13.2 which pits member against member. PMA did not place Me on non dispatch because they can't with out Local 26 approval. What PMA did was instruct all terminals that I'm not allowed on any terminal and is to be arrested if Iattempt to enter! Furthermore in order to return I must sign a letter stating guilt and can be disciplined further for any future problems, ANY FUTURE PROBLEMS!!
This issue was taken to the NLRB so that My rights can be restored. PMA is trying to impose 13.2 on us (Local 26) even though it was rejected by the Local 26 in bargaining. I have lost a lot of time and money from not being able to work, but I must hold out until the Labor Board rules or else what PMA wants, it will set a president and force 13.2 on Local 26 through the the back door since PMA couldn't get it in bargaining!
