We are a Nordic ski club team from the Upper peninsula of Houghton Michigan known as the Ski Tigers. Our goal is to fully fund our travel expenses for a trip to Truckee, California, where the 2015 Junior Nationals competition will be held. Six athletes from our team that have qualified for this competition, and hope to join others from various Great Lake Districts to become one team and compete with the top skiers from The United States and other countries. Those of us that place well enough may be given an opportunity for scholarships from colleges that see a potential future of a skiing career for that particular college.
