LLA Booster Club - Athletics

As you may know, CPS changed their policies for coaching stipends and support in this new school year, and while they are not eliminating the elementary sports program, they will not be funding any coaching stipends related to the Elementary School Sports Program. The Department of Sports Administration will continue to provide guidance, support and coordination for elementary sports. It was stated that “…schools wishing to field elementary sports teams must assume responsibility for funding their schools’ sports program.” …and that’s where we come in!

The LLA Booster Club is your way to help support LaSalle Language Academy Athletics throughout the school. From helping to show your support for our athletes and teams, to supporting our coaches, purchasing much-needed  uniforms and equipment for the teams, and also equipment, balls and nets and other items the gym program as a whole needs for our entire K - 8 student body, your spirit and cooperation and “boosterism” is vital to the continued success of our amazing sports program.

Important Notes:

1. The LLA Booster Club is not a “pay for play” program — athletic participation on the team or the field of play is based solely on the merits of your tryouts or the coaches’ decision(s). Parental and Community backing of the LLA Booster Club is solely for the purpose of supporting the LLA Athletic Department as a whole.

2. Your donation of $30 will get you membership on to the LLA Booster Club, a car magnet to proudly show your Booster Club support, regular e-mail and web/social-based correspondence for tryouts, practice and game schedules/results, and it lends financial support towards our LLA Athletics Department. For those with multiple students enrolled at LaSalle, we encourage you to increase your donation as you see fit, or are able to do so.

3. Additional donations of any amount above and beyond the $30 per LLA student you have enrolled will also be very welcome and appreciated. We also encourage any ideas you might have for fundraisers or individuals or local resources that might also be interested in supporting the LLA Booster Club.
