Liz Becknell Financial Assistance Needed

Our mother, Liz Becknell, is in serious need of financial assistance.

Mom is a retired health care worker. She spent decades working at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She worked tirelessly in the Heart Cath lab taking care of hundreds of patients over the years.

Mom also spent many years as a single mom raising three boys. When we didn't have money to make ends meet mom would work two and sometimes three jobs to make sure we had food on the table and clothes on our backs.

In 2016 she lost her husband to stage 4 terminal pancreatic cancer.

Mom is now 83 and is living in an assisted living facility. In the last 3 years, she has been in the hospital multiple times and in 2021 alone has spent 97 days in rehab.

Two weeks ago mom fell and broke her right arm, right hip and three ribs, Events prior to her fall had already caused financial distress. The family is doing what they can to help, but the financial burden is more than we can overcome.
