Yogitha's Husband Liver Transplant

In Sept 2017  Yogitha's husband fell sick due to auto immune hepatitis and got admitted in emergency care due to fatigue and fever. The blood tests, scans and liver biopsy revealed that he was suffering from Auto Immune hepatitis. This has led to Liver damage now.

From Oct 2017 onwards he is receiving treatment in Global Hospital, Hyderabad. He has been recently diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis and doctors have advised a liver transplant at the earliest.

Consultations at multiple hospitals have confirmed that the liver transplant within 6 months is the only option for his survival.

It is disheartening to see him suffering in pain, bloated stomach and legs, shortness of breath, fatigue. We are trying for a O+ positive donor.

The liver transplant surgery estimate is $45,000 which is beyond what they can afford. His failing health has depleted Yogitha all of her savings and everything that they had saved for their future.

Yogitha is the only bread-earner for their family which includes their two sweet school going kids.
