Thank you for visiting my page. I have hung up my cycling helmet for a year & instead I have taken up this challenge 'Trek for Troops' to raise awareness & funds for SSAFA (IOM) who help so many veterans & their families. Their commitment to provide support with experienced, non-judgemental & friendly advice, as well as a variety of practical services which cover a range of social, family & financial issues.
The Manx Legion Club work closely with SSAFA (IOM) and offer continuous support to a vast number of people within the community.
This is the route I will take starting at the Imperial War Museum in London, then travel to Albert in the Somme of Hauts-de-France and trek a whopping 89km to Belgium in the footsteps of soldiers who fought in the Great War.
It would mean a great deal if you could sponsor me in this challenge, by donating whatever you can.
