     I am a single mother of 3 amazing teenage boys. I have struggled to raise my boys on my own without any child support for over 10 years. I have worked as an early childhood teacher at the same job for 25 years living from paycheck to paycheck. It has been important to me as a mother to support my boys in all of their sports activities, driving them to and from practices, being at all of their games and school activities. We live in a rented unit which is not within a bus route. My boys and I have to depend on our car for my ability to get to work, to get them to school, to get to their sports events, grocery shopping, etc. My 18 year old car which was given to me a few years ago is now completely unsafe to drive. I took it to a mechanic and was told there are too many issues such as the head gaskets, the brakes and the huge oil leak which make it not worth fixing. They told me it is unsafe and recommended that I do not drive it anymore.

     This is an urgent matter so I am asking for help to raise the funds so I can purchase a reliable car for our family’s daily transportation needs.

     I will truly appreciate any help no matter how small. I have worked hard to provide for my kids and this help would allow me to continue working and supporting my kids the best that I can.
