He touched hearts around the world, but 4 years on, little has changed...
In February, I learned about the amazing humanitarian work being done by this charity. Since 2015 they have supported over 80 projects worldwide - and over 1 million people - by providing funding, food, shelter and volunteers.
Their work transcends religion and politics, with a simple message of #ChooseLove
They don't have highly paid executives or big fundraising projects...
"Everybody has something to offer in this movement of everyday people, helping everyday people".
With my husband Mark, we will be volunteering at their Calais base in November 2019. Our trip is self-funded.
ALL of the funds raised from this campaign will go directly to the charity. 89% of their funding goes straight to the front line. When we go, we will be taking donated items with us - and our first task will be to sort them for distribution!
