Liliana Beron and Family road to Recovery

Hello family and friends,

On Friday, May 17th, Liliana, Yamile and Andres Felipe were in a terrible car accident.  Thankfully Andres Felipe only has minor injuries, but Yamile and Liliana suffered pretty bad injuries. Yamile received 17 stitches on one of her knees and Liliana is still in the hospital recovering from emergency knee surgery. She completely tore her knee and has a fractured sternum (breast bone). They are all still in shock and in pain, but most importantly made it out alive.

Liliana is currently at Broward Health Medical Center but expected to be released this week.  Liliana and Yamile have a long and painful recovery ahead of them. Liliana will not be able to walk on her own for the next 3-6 months and it will all depend on her recovery and the physical therapy.

Unfortunately, this all happened as they were driving home from work. A reckless driver crashed into the side of their car causing them to lose control and hit a concrete electricity pole. The car is a total loss.

As many of you know, Liliana is a single mom and the sole provider for her children and her granddaughter after losing her husband a few years ago. Liliana and Yamile will not be able to work for a while and they all desperately need your help.  No donation is too small, anything you can do to help this family will go a long way. The goal is to raise at least $5,000. We also encourage all of you who know Liliana and her kids to reach out to them directly, not only are they in need of financial assistance, but they also need all the love, support and prayers that you can provide them with.

Hola familia y amigos,

Liliana y su familia necesitan de tus oraciones y apoyo.  Liliana, Yamile y Andrés Felipe sufrieron un terrible accidente automovilístico el viernes 17 de mayo a las 2am. Regresando a casa después de un duro día de trabajo. Ellos terminaban de limpiar una academia de belleza y de haber trabajado en varias otras limpiezas. Un automóvil, que venía a una gran velocidad y sin luces, les impacto fuertemente por un lado del carro, haciendo que el carro perdiera el control impactando un poste de concreto de electricidad. El carro fue pérdida total.

Liliana se encuentra en este momento muy delicada en el Broward Health Medical Center donde  fue operada de inmediato de su rodilla izquierda, ya que fue donde sufrió el mayor trauma en el momento del accidente. Tras la operación de la rodilla hoy está siendo operada de una fractura del Esternón (hueso del pecho). Como se pueden imaginar los dolores son horribles. Ahora ella está en manos de los médicos y enfrenta una larga y dolorosa recuperación. Yamile también sufrió un fuerte trauma en la rodilla izquierda con 17 puntos e igualmente muy afectada con muchos moretones. Andrés Felipe no sufrió mayores golpes.

Ellos se sienten muy afortunados y bendecidos por que salieron vivos de este accidente. Como pueden ver en las fotos, este accidente ha dejado a Liliana y Yamile con grandes traumas físicos. Liliana es una mujer muy guerrera que cada día lucha para sacar a su familia adelante como madre soltera al que dar viuda tan joven.

La meta es recaudar $5,000.00. Este dinero se destinará a las responsabilidades primordiales para ayudarle mientras no pueda trabajar y otros gastos incurridos como resultado del accidente.
