Eccleshill Jubilee Picnic
Donation protected
To help celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee in our village the Eccleshill Village Steering Group are organising a 'jubilee community picnic' on the Rec, from noon- 3 pm, Sat 4th June.
We have invited a variety of local community groups to join us, there will be activities and games for the children as well as live music. As is always the case these events are not free to arrange and put on so we are asking anyone who can make a donation to help cover the costs.
We have received funding from Bradford Council and Arnold Clarke already and this has gone a long way to cover the costs but we want to make sure it is a spectacular day for local residents.
Below is what we have planned for the 4th June so far...
Bring your own picnic, stay for the afternoon & enjoy the sunshine whilst being entertained by a live steel drum band. Free art & craft activities & giant garden games for all kids. Local stalls & ice-creams too.
But that’s not all….be in the first 200 visitors to get some specially commissioned jubilee cake and a proper brew, all for free.
Oooh, that’ll do nicely!
Thank You
