Lift the Finch’s spirits

The Finch’s have faced some really challenging times recently. When on a family camping trip a few weeks back Justin had an awful motorbike accident, found by some other campers he was taken to hospital. Rach stored his and their son Kolby’s motorbikes and bikes in a shed at the caravan park they were staying at.

The next day Rach went back to find seven-year-old Kolby’s motorbike and Justin’s mountain bike stolen. Justin has suffered serious injuries including fractured ribs and has just undergone surgery having screws and a plate placed on his fractured Clavicle.


He has at least 3 months of recovery ahead putting his landscaping work to a holt. Just when things couldn’t feel any harder the family dog Kanga was hit by a car and sadly passed away.


This beautiful family have faced other challenges in the last couple of year’s when Justin went through an extremely hard battle with his mental health that really took its toll on the whole family.

Rach works as a mental health professional in the local community helping so many people and the Finch’s are always the first people to help others in hard times and offer love and support.

I’d like to ask family, friends, colleagues and the wider community to contribute to this fundraising event to show love and support for the family, help them through these hard times and give them faith that there is hope and we are all behind them.
