Lexie's Malala Fund

Hello, my name is Lexie Reidinger and I am raising money for the Malala Fund. In our school, we are asked to perform one act of generosity for our community. This project is called TCA (Think, Care, Act). I chose this cause because I am a strong believer in women's rights and I wanted to help girls all over the world get a proper education. The Malala Fund was started by Malala Yousafzai who was shot in the head by the Taliban on her school bus. She survived and went to a hospital in the U.K. Now she lives in England with her family. She has spoken at the U.N., and she was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Shiza Shahid (The CEO of the Malala Fund) says that the Malala Fund will help battle the things standing between many girls and education, including culture, violence, poverty, and a lack of quality schools. I am very happy to be helping the Malala Fund help many young girls in need.
