Let’s support the Johnson family
Spende geschützt
This is a fundraiser for the Johnson family. Anishia and her daughter Destiny have been good friends since our daughters met in third grade.
Here is her story: At the age of 44 yrs old I’ve been diagnosed with Breast cancer. I have both noninvasive and invasive types of cancer. November 21, 2018, changed my life forever. Also the past 14 months I’ve been dealing with a life challenging allergy by the name of Alpha Gal. I’ve been hospitalized multiple times and in the ER many times. I’ve been coded and put on mechanical ventilation twice because of it. Life hasn’t been the same since September 2017. I haven’t been the same. God is so very good to me and his Grace and Mercy brings me through. I’m continuing to trust in the Lord in all I’m going to deal with in this new journey I’ve been given. I didn’t have medical costs as of last year September, but I have incurred close to $20,000 worth of medical costs in the past 14 months. This doesn’t include the new costs associated with the Breast cancer. My insurance premiums are out of pocket (because I only work 1-2 shifts each month) and are increasing in January. They increased last year from $464 to $712 this year. I guess because I had over $100,000 claim from just one week in ICU and all the other claims. Next year is a new calendar benefit year and new deductibles and coinsurance will be added along with $740 monthly premiums.
Our goal is to help cover medical bills from Anishia’s two lengthy hospital stays and now a current breast cancer diagnosis. It has been hard to cover all of her medical expenses, manage a family, and her health. Anishia and her daughter would appreciate a donation of any size. They are dear to our family and our school community, and they need all the help they can get!
