Let’s Replace Justin’s Equipment
Donation protected
Justin’s car was rummaged and stuff stolen from the trunk sometime on the 16-17 of November. Inside his trunk he had all of his equipment that he has needed for his job as a videographer and filmer. All of this equipment was taken. Within this was a Canon 60D (with a kit lens and cards, worth $999), a Canon XF100 (worth $2,600), two lenses (worth roughly $430 each), a Merlin Steadicam (worth $250), a lav mic ($180) and a handheld interview mic ($180), as well as batteries, SD cards, and compact flash cards containing footage (though the data is all backed up). This equipment he has had for years and is actually starting a new contract on the 28 where we will be filming quite a lot and need this equipment to complete the task.
Not only is this necessary for his personal business as an independent contractor, but this money he makes affects his livelihood as well as our livelihood as we are getting married in April. (We planned on using some of this money we’re making at this video project for our honeymoon)
We know this is a lot of money and near the holidays. However, if you can help in anyway that would be amazing. Truly. We covet your prayers too as we seek ways working with the police to recover items if possible but also coming up with solutions to the immediate needs we have.
Thank you all!
