THE FUN PART:

Your options are:
- Lori
- Maddy
- Hailey
- Mallory
- Allison
- Maria
- Madison
- Leah
*Sorry, folks. I (Lisa) will not be participating, because I know too many of you. And I would much rather be the 'dog trainer' and videographer for this unforgettable experience.
THE NOT SO FUN BUT INSPIRING PART:
One of our beloved crew members suffers from this chronic and incurable autoimmune disease. Lupus impacts at least 5 million people worldwide, and 9 out of 10 of them are women. Many of these survivors suffer in silence, and Maria is no exception. You will never hear her complain about her illness or the toll it takes on her body (unless you ask). Even then, she pushes through each and every day to make sure your dogs are beautifully groomed and handled with love and care. She has been treated for lupus since she was quite young, and even the treatment hasn't been kind to her health. She spends an incredible amount of time and money on doctor visits and medications just to be able to do the job that she loves.
Our goal is to create awareness about this painful and incurable disease. We are going to raise as much money as we can for The Lupus Foundation of America. This organization is devoted to improving the quality of life for all those affected by lupus through research, education, support, and advocacy. Your contributions will help fund:
- Research that leads to better treatments and a potential cure for lupus.
- Support programs that provide education and resources for patients and their families.
Every dollar is going directly to The Lupus Foundation of America including all cash donations made in our salon. Donate today, and help all those suffering from lupus and make your favorite crew member's track star dreams come true.
