 Hi, my name is Adrianne Jones-Alston, and I'm raising funds for one of Holmesburg Prison test subjects of the late Dr. Albert Kligman in the 1960s-70s at Holmesburg Prison. Yusef Anthony is now an elderly man who still suffers from damages he incurred due to these experiments by Dr. Kligman, who is also the inventor of the multi-million dollar skincare product Retin-A/Renova. Retin-A /Renova made a lot of people rich but left Mr. Anthony, and others broke and with uncompensated permanent injuries. The University of Penn was one of the entities that funded these experiments of Dr. Kligman's as he was a graduate and employee of U of Penn for decades. Mr. Anthony is now recovering from a recent heart attack and has other health challenges. His elderly wife is recovering from a recent surgery as well. Anthony's car was repossessed due to financial strain. It's very difficult to meet the demands of both of their doctor appointments and rehab and other vital obligations without dependable transportation.

I feel it's time that society shows the Anthony's that we can all heal from these decades of trauma together.
