Let's help the Lee family!

Hi, I'm Toni and I am a friend of the Lee family. Chris, Teresa, Kerstin & Gage have been dear to my heart and the heart of MANY others for countless years. And right now, they need us.

Teresa has been hospitalized since June and has been diagnosed with Korsakoff Syndrome (the 2nd part of Wernickes- her initial diagnosis). She is suffering from hallucinations, delusions and memory loss and is no longer able to care for herself. As this disease progresses, it becomes more and more life-threatening. and long-term care will be a necessity moving forward.

Chris, Gage, and especially Kerstin, have all advocated for her to the point of mental and emotional exhaustion. The stress on this family has affected each of them, their daily lives, and even the people that care about them. Mentally- they are all at their wits end trying to figure out the best course of action to help Teresa, keep her safe & look out for her future. Emotionally- they are all completely drained & have put their own lives on hold in order to advocate for a very important part of their family. Financially- none of us can even imagine. The medical bills so far AND those to come. Renovating the house to acceptable standards and possible sale in the future. The lost wages (and lost employment) of EVERYONE in the family. The fees for countless invaluable resources.

Many of you have assisted the family in some way thus far & they are extremely grateful. SO grateful, in fact, that they have a hard time asking for continued support.
