Let's Help Sebadan Orphanage Madudu, Uganda

 

Hi,

 

I’m a friend to the Sebadan Orphanage in Madudu, Uganda. I have known the caretaker, Daniel Sebabi for over a

2 years. Daniel is a Teacher but since the schools in Uganda have been closed for well over a year, the income he used to support the 20+- kids he takes care of has completely dried up. Unfortunately the need for daily food, medicine and books for homeschooling continues... I'm Richard Green, a Los Angeles Based photographer (Instagram @Richardgreenla) please join me in helping this deserving group.

 

Without our help these orphans simply do not eat. Daniel, in all of our conversations has never asked for money but now the situation is very dire and we recently discussed what is really needed to help the kids.

 

Daniel has a dream to make the Orphanage more self sufficient and to that end he was able to purchase some land for growing food and started building a building to house the kids. Right now they are paying quite high rent so it makes sense. The work on the building has stopped due to a lack of funds and the crops they planted unfortunately were all destroyed by a drought currently effecting  much of Uganda.

 

I have been so impressed with the care and support that Daniel gives to his kids that I wanted to raise the funds to finish the building and give the kids a more permanent home and the possibility to grow their own food to become more self sufficient and contribute to their community. All funds I receive (100%) will immeadeatly go to Daniel and the kids. They need these funds as soon as possible as the situation has become dire and we really need people to step up in any way large or small to give these kids a chance in life!

 

I would be so grateful to all you good and kind hearted people who share what you can with these kids and let them have a permanent home to based themselves in.
