You may have heard the news that professional bigot Katie Hopkins has been forced to sell her family home in order to pay the legal fees in her libel case against Jack Monroe.
When I heard the news I thought, 'wouldn't it be great if someone bought it and then gave it to a family of asylum seekers or refugees'.
Then I thought, surely there are enough like minded people out there willing to chip in and make this happen?
Hopkins has been the standard bearer for hatred for too long. This gesture, even if not successful will send a clear message that her trolling hate speech is not and has never been welcome in Britain.
So all we need is £950,000.
We'd also probably have to rip out the lurid carpets.

If we don't make the total, or if the property is snapped up before we can acquire it, then every penny raised will be donated to refugee charitites. We'll make sure the donation is made in Katie's name. Because she'd hate that as much as she hates refugees.
