Let's Build Christian a Pirate Ship

Christian is an energetic and adventurous 10-old-boy who loves to go to Renaissance and Adventure Faires with his family and get involved in the fun. He is also wheelchair bound and has been since of the age of 8. Christian has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a muscle- wasting disease that is fatal. The average life expectancy for boys with DMD is 21. There is no cure for DMD.
A few of us pirates had the good fortune to meet Christian and see his love of adventure first- hand.
We know we can build him a pirate ship he and his family can take on many more adventures. They’ll need a custom hitch for their wheelchair-accessible van and a trailer to take Christian and his pirate ship on his future adventures.
We built a pirate ship for fun and the silly pleasure of making people smile. We want to do the same for Christian. We hope you'll join us.
