Let’s build a school in Tanzania

INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone, 

My name is Dorina Botan and I'll be volunteering at Kyosei Foundation in Tanzania as from October to December 2021. I'll be helping in teaching and building  a sustainable school for vulnerable children in Arusha. 

Kyosei Foundation is a non-profit organisation which aims to help vulnerable children in Arusha, Tanzania, get a free quality education for their brighter future.

A land of 3.5 Hectares was bought in 2017 from the contribution of volunteers. The Kyosei Foundation managed to build four out of 12 classrooms in order to fulfill bringing more than 300  children when the project will be finished.

To finalise the school, financial support is needed to buy raw materials, construction materials and furniture.

I would like to appeal to your generosity to collect the money for the construction process.

Together, we can give children from Arusha a place to study and improve their life and future.

MY MOTIVATION

When I was a child I‘ve met a lot of orphaned children and befriended them. Their life stories inspired me to dream about being able to change their lives one day when I‘ll grow up. 

Volunteering for Kyosei Foundation makes my dream come true. As I’m taking a gap semester at the moment, I’ve decided to travel to new places around the world and do something that would satisfy my soul. By building classrooms for the children in Arusha and helping them get an education, I  can give them the hope of a better life and future.
