CAUSE:
As so many around our country attempt to loudly devalue our men and women in blue, we believe it’s time to do some good by showing local law enforcement how much we love, appreciate and support them. We want to honor them for their hard work, commitment and the continued sacrifices they make for our community.
VISION:
A well-known local billboard advertising company has graciously extended a number of digital and transit billboards across the valley in some of our higher - trafficked locations and will allow the signs to run for up to 8 weeks showing a community appreciation for Huntsville and Madison Police Department. We have settled on an initial cost; however, I am asking for $10,000 to help add more "THANK YOU" billboards throughout the area so that we can flood our police department with community love and support they so deserve. With your help, we will be able to cover at least 8+ signs (for up to 8 weeks), designs, prints .. etc. Please understand the locations (below) may vary depending on when the funds are available and when the contracts are signed. Please feel free to ask any questions as I will be very transparent through out this process.
110% of these funds we raise will go straight to the billboards. The more funds that become available, the more billboards we will be able to lease (from County Line Road/ Madison BLVD/ 565/ Memorial PKWY/ Hwy72/ Oakwood/ Big Cove) - ultimately sending out more direct messages of appreciation to our police department. Our ultimate goal is to lease more billboards than Alexander Shunnarah ever thought possible. Huntsville and Madison police department will be flooded with "Thank you" from supporters like you reminding them of their community’s love, appreciation and support.
DESIGN (visual below):
Each sign will contain a special note. They will be simple, yet profound. The design will be the iconic black with a sleek blue stripe and a "Thank you for _________" note of appreciation (example below). Each billboard will present a special note of it's own. Billboard Designing is still underway; however, I have listed a few below as an example of what your support will bring.
